The Eli Story is a power pop rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Their respect for collaboration, love for melodic songwriting, and utter lack of dignity make for a quirky rock formula that embodies their mission to always take their music seriously but never themselves.

Each member brings to the table diverse influences and backgrounds resulting in a sound fueled with energy, drive, and catchy hooks. Lyrically, every song tells a unique story that can evoke laughter with one line and break a heart with the next.

These four ordinary guys, drummer, Mike Bruder, Bass player/lead vocalist/lyricist, Eddie Paul, guitarist/keyboardist/back-up vocalist, Michael Gouwens, and lead guitarist/back-up vocalist, Dylan Lower, feel lucky to have the opportunity to share their music with the world.

Since the spring of 2006, The Eli Story has been delivering an energetic live stage show filled with musical balance, tight harmonies, and a little humor for good measure. They are currently in the studio working on a new EP to be released in early 2012.
Eddie Paul
Super Power: Energy Manipulation
When not saving the world with his incredible speed and agility, Eddie enjoys sipping gluten-free beer while taking long walks off short piers. He is a clever lyricist, talented singer, breathtaking bassist, and accomplished time traveler.
Dylan Lower
Super Power: Pyroblast
Dylan loves torching bad guys. He is also a gifted guitarist, vibrant vocalist, brilliant bassist, and bewitching banjo player. As the self-admitted crowd favorite, Dylan proves it's possible to rock out and still look cool in a baseball hat and flip-flops.
Mike Bruder
Super Power: Kinetic Disruption
Mike has mastered the ability to absorb and manipulate subatomic kinetic energy, which has allowed him to rock out on the drums radically and tirelessly for the past seventeen years. Beware his magnetic personality! It takes no prisoners and may draw you into a conversation after a show.
Mike Gouwens
Super Power: Death Stare
Mike has been staring the enemy into oblivion for eons. He has also been singing and playing piano since the womb, and has been shredding the guitar for over fifteen years. He also does an amazing Gollum impression.
